Since many of you showed a high interest to the idea of having a very detailed Macro Nutrient Based, “Old School,” way of Nutrition Program, I have put together a small layout with more info on it.
Most of you were interested in the option of weight/fat loss, while minimizing the loss of hard earned muscle mass. I’d like to emphasize again, that this program will be most suitable for an intermediate to advanced lifter, who has minimum 1+ years of training experience and has already build some basic frame work of muscle.
That doesn’t mean that the program won’t work for the people who just started to train and want to lose weight (it actually will still work very effectively).However, you could achieve similar results with a much more simplified approach like we had with the MyHan Challenge.
This being said, this program will be build for intermediate/advance athletes, who already have a good understanding of nutrition, possibly have some experience with different programs in the past and really seek to go one step further to maximize their results.
Here are some bullet points about what the program will entail:
– 1 week Preparation before we start with the official week1 of the program (food log, questionnaire, weight log)
– Start with a 1on1 Consultation and full assessment
– History/Background check
– Measurements, pictures, weight
– Assessing Calories, Macros and Building a Meal plan that is adjusted to your weekly schedule
– For the weight/fat loss program, the program is structured the following:
– 1 Week: Preparation
– 10 weeks: Weight loss Phase
– 2 weeks: Transition Phase into a Reverse Diet to boost back metabolism and intent to stabilize the weight without much of an rebound effectweeks of pure muscle & performance gain
– Evaluation and setting up new goals/plan for the future
– Muscle gain/performance program
– 1 Week: Preparation
– 10 weeks: “Gain Phase”
– 2 weeks: Transition Phase into a short cut phase to lose gained body fait, but maintain gained muscle mass and performance
– Evaluation and setting up new goals/plan for the future
Both Programs include the following:
– Constant coaching: guidance, checking in, adjustments based on the progress through the length of the program + “after program guidance”
– Training “Add ons” – this will have to be discussed individually (based on your availability of time)
– Frequently re-evaluations and progress tracking
– Private Facebook Group to build a highly engaged team environment and support group
